Shipping policy

Stackhouse Orchards is located in Hickman, California. As a default, we ship most our products to Residential and Commercial addresses via USPS & UPS. You may elect to choose between Economy (USPS or UPS), UPS 2-day, and Next Day at your discretion. 

Please be aware that UPS operates on a Monday - Friday schedule. We do not offer the UPS Saturday delivery option. 

We ship to all 50 states, with an additional surcharge to Alaska.  International Shipping is available by emailing us at info@stackhouseorchards.com, or telephone at (800) 398-1043.

We ship to domestic PO Boxes and Centralized University/College Mail Service Centers (MSC), provide your complete address information. We also ship to APO & FPO addresses, (via USPS only).

 

Incorrect Addresses & Reroutes
We do our best to ship your packages based on the information you provide. Therefore, it is essential that you verify addresses and the availability of your recipient before placing your order. Sometimes weather delays or incorrect address entries may cause a delay, which means that we will be unable to guarantee a specific delivery date. If you have questions, please call our Customer Care Service. If an incorrect address is entered, the customer is responsible for shipping charges.

 

Signatures
We do not require delivery signatures. However, our shipping carriers have the discretion to require signatures for certain types of deliveries, including those to apartments or offices.

 

Failed Delivery Attempts
If a signature is required at a particular address, UPS will attempt to deliver up to three times. After the third attempt, the order will be returned to Stackhouse Orchards. If your purchase does not arrive as expected, please call our Customer Care Service.

 

Order Tracking
After your order is placed; you will receive a separate email from Stackhouse Orchards with your Order Tracking Number and a link to directly to the shippers website. You may also enter your tracking number on their website to view the status of your order. 

 

Additional Processing Information
All shipping processing charges are based on the UPS requirements of size, weight, and address. As well as if the package is a Residential or Commercial location. 

While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all information, we reserve the right to make corrections if an error does occur. Please check all addresses carefully, because delivery and postal services will not forward. We guarantee delivery only to the address we are given.

Free Shipping Exclusions: 

Subscriptions to the following states will incur an added one-time shipping fee to ensure timely delivery: MN, IA, MO, AR, LA, MS, TN, IL, WI, AL, IN, MI, OH, KY, FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, WV, DE, MD, DC, PA, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME.

All items including chocolate will incur a surcharge during summer months. The surcharge is removed when the weather is safe to ship without insulated packaging  

Free Shipping Service 
Most orders to 49 US States over $100 qualify for free shipping (exclusions apply). Exclusions include chocolate during select summer months, and fresh fruit orders. If you choose our free shipping service we will choose the most economical option which may be UPS ground USPS Priority Mail Cubic.

If a customer needs an/or wants quicker delivery of their order, then we recommend that they select an alternate delivery option such as Next Day or UPS 2-day. If this occurs, then the free shipping promotion will not be available, and the customer will be responsible for the cost of the expedited shipping delivery method.
